Carpet Cleaning

Sitting there wondering who or what method to choose for your next or even first carpet cleaning?
If you read this short consumer awareness message I have prepared for the fed up or just plain confused consumer,  I believe you will be much more prepared to make an educated decision with the information I am about to divulge.
Are carpet cleaning discounts or coupons for real? I feel that most are just a way to get the phone to ring and get in your home and then up sell you on all the stuff you probably felt should be included in the service. Some company's may even clean (if you want to call it that) for really bargain prices but, what you are usually receiving is a soaking wet carpet loaded with chemical residue which at the very least will re soil quickly and at worst, dramatically shorten the life of your carpet.
Then you have the uneducated and untrained carpet cleaners who are paid so little that they hate there jobs and could care less if your happy or ever call them back. This is a huge portion of this industry do to bait and switch advertising and sub contracted cleaners who are unskilled.
What method is best and why? By far the most thorough and deep cleaning process is truck mounted steam cleaning done properly. The worlds largest manufacturer of carpeting recommends this method. However, most company's and technicians still leave carpets soaking wet and full of residue do to poor equipment, improper techniques and just plain bad workmanship.
So when your looking for a carpet cleaner you should  look for well established company's with truck mounted equipment, well trained technicians who are fully insured and a company that provides workman comp, uniformed and english speaking (if that's your language) technicians and last but not least I believe family owned and operated carpet cleaning company's will almost always give you that level of service and workmanship you just wont get from the big corporate company's.
